MIPS Processors
The industry-standard MIPS® architecture was created in the early 1980s as a 32-bit RISC (reduced instruction set computer) architecture focused on providing top performance in efficient implementations. Imagination's MIPS architecture, which today encompasses the compatible MIPS32® and MIPS64® instruction set architectures (ISAs) and microMIPS™ code compression ISA, continues to grow as electronic products continue to evolve. Over time, we incorporate new and innovative technologies to support our customers’ next generation product development.
Multi-threading
Can make a single processor core appear and function like multiple separate cores for improved performance and efficiency.
